This tour was very special for me because it was the first time I played music in so many places so far from home and my country. The preparation itself was intense: I worked for four months alongside Nancy from LEKID, my agency, and the planning didn't stop during the tour; it was intense work every day.
Looking back, my first impression was that each audience was completely different: the contexts, the parties, the environments and the venues changed a lot. Each country was a challenge in itself; there were no two audiences alike.
What was most exhausting, without a doubt, were the trips: spending long hours alone, many flights, layovers, sleeping little and having to play with just a couple of hours of sleep. But all of that was compensated by how special Latin America was: the warmth of the people, the food and the energy in each city.
Although it was my first time in the region, I noticed that its music scene had its own identity. Unlike larger countries, there seemed to be a more fluid connection between countries. My biggest challenge was quickly realizing that, although it seemed obvious, I had to be very attentive to reading the track: each country had its own rhythm and responded differently. In Argentina I'm more used to knowing the audience and them knowing me, but on this tour we were all strangers to each other, which made it even more interesting.
Spending most of the 42 days traveling alone, from city to city on endless flights, was intense, but it also gave me many moments to reflect and look back. At first, the idea of such a long trip alone scared me a bit, but as it progressed it became simpler, and I even started to enjoy moving at my own pace and solving everything on my own.
Returning from the tour, I felt renewed in many aspects, with new desire to continue producing music and improving as a DJ.
